About Mightlings
Mightlings is a bedtime story app for children ages two to five. Pick a friend, press play, and one short story is told out loud. When it ends, the screen fades to dark and the app goes quiet.
MEET THE FRIENDS
Lumi glows softly in a forest clearing and says goodnight to the woodland, one friend at a time. Tap her and the fireflies wake.
Otto is a curious octopus in the deep sea who lights up from the inside when you gently shake your phone.
Each friend has their own world, voice and stories, in English and Turkish.
HOW A STORY GOES
Every story lasts around five minutes. It opens the same familiar way each night, moves at an unhurried pace and settles into a slow, gentle ending. In the last minutes the narration, music and light grow calmer together, giving your child space to drift off whenever sleep arrives.
MUSIC MADE FOR BEDTIME
The music follows the shape that lullaby research keeps finding: a slow tempo, a narrow melody and a spacious arrangement with no lyrics or percussion. It stays below the voice, so the story is clear even at a low volume.
FOR PARENTS
- No ads, no sign-in, no account
- No autoplay and no next episode
- Works offline once installed
- Sleep timer: after the story, the music plays on for as long as you choose, then everything fades to dark
- Narration volume and language
- Parent settings open only with a press and hold
Mightlings is free. You can read about our design decisions and the research behind them in the design notes on our website.
