Mic Sync

MicSync turns two smartphones into one recording setup. One phone captures video — up to 4K and 60 fps if the device supports it. The other becomes a remote microphone and streams 48 kHz audio over local Wi‑Fi.

No account, no cloud, and no separate wireless mic kit. Open the app on both phones, pair them, and start shooting.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose Camera on one device and Microphone on the other.
2. Pair the phones: local network discovery, QR plus hotspot, or a manual IP connection.
3. Record a take. When you stop, MicSync aligns the audio to the start of the recording, optionally reduces background noise, and muxes a finished clip.

WHAT THE APP CAN DO

• 1080p and 4K video at 30 or 60 fps — depending on your phone
• Remote 48 kHz microphone over a local network
• Gain and mute control from the camera phone
• Audio input selection on the microphone phone
• Local WAV backup on the microphone device
• On-device noise reduction before export
• Save to the gallery and share with the system share sheet

WHO IT IS FOR

Interviews, podcasts, backstage, UGC, reviews, and any shoot where the camera sits far from the sound source and you do not want to buy a radio mic.

PLEASE NOTE

• You need two Android devices and the same Wi‑Fi network, or the camera phone’s hotspot
• The internet is not required for the main recording flow: audio goes directly between your phones
• Recordings are not uploaded to our servers
• 4K and 60 fps depend on the camera of each device
