WHAT THE APP DOES
• Create a pet profile — photo, breed, date of birth, microchip number, vaccinations, medication, friendly-with notes, anything a finder or vet might need.
• Activate your PawBack tag — tap it with NFC or type the 6-character code.
• Receive messages the moment a finder scans your tag.
• Mark a pet as lost and back to found in one tap.

HOW FINDERS USE IT
A finder doesn't install anything. They just tap the tag against their phone (NFC) or scan the QR code with the camera. Your pet's profile opens in the browser. They can send you a message right there — their current location optional — and you see it instantly in the app.

PRIVACY & DATA
Your personal info is never exposed on the public tag page. Only what you choose to show (like a phone number, if you opt in). Data is encrypted in transit and stored in the EU. Delete your account anytime — the tag returns to unassigned and your data is removed.

HOW IT'S DIFFERENT
GPS trackers need charging and a monthly fee. Engraved tags expose your phone number. Big-brand smart tags lock you into their ecosystem with recurring costs. PawBack is the opposite: one tag, one price, one account, zero lock-in.
