About Met-Alerta

Met-Alerta puts safety in the palm of your hand, 24 hours a day. By pressing the panic button, your phone sends an immediate alert to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and designated emergency contacts, with real-time GPS location.

Data Protection and Privacy
* The Privacy Policy, effective September 15, 2025, specifies that we collect only essential data: identification, location, voluntarily provided health information, and device data.
* This data is used exclusively to trigger and coordinate emergency responses, identify the user, improve service efficiency, and communicate relevant information about the service. * Data may be shared with Met-Care medical teams, competent authorities when required by law, and technology partners for secure operation. It is not traded or sold to third parties.
* Technical, administrative, and physical security measures are in place, including encryption and restricted server access.

User Rights
* Access, correct, or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or request portability. You can also file a complaint with your national data protection authority.
* By using the application, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms and privacy policy.
* In case of misuse or violation of the Terms, Met-Care may suspend or cancel access to the service.

Usage Requirements
* Provide truthful information when registering your account.
* Keep GPS and mobile data enabled.
* The application is intended for personal use only.

Limitations
* Met-Care is not responsible for errors caused by third parties (carriers, manufacturers) or location errors due to device settings.
