About Bangladesh Shishu Profiles
The ‘Profile of children in Bangladesh’, prepared by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, with support from UNICEF Bangladesh, provide a snapshot of the situation of children in different geographic and thematic domains of Bangladesh, based on the latest available information from credible national level surveys and censuses. These profiles also show the progress that the country has made in terms of different indicators on the well-being of children and women in Bangladesh at a glance. The information on different indicators are arranged by major thematic areas such as mortality, child health, child nutrition, maternal health, education, WASH and child protection.
