About Soropan
"Soropan" is a closed abacus that allows for the unique representation, on each of its rods, of all the digits of a positional number system, and only these.
This application is a configurable abacus designed to explore different number systems.
It includes an exercise mode to practice addition and subtraction operations, with a step-by-step guide that follows traditional soroban techniques, such as the use of complements for "carries" and "borrows".
