Episode X: TV Time Alternative

EpisodeX is a movie and TV show tracker built to work offline-first — your watch history, ratings, and watchlist live on your device, not on someone else's server.

SET UP IN MINUTES • Three quick steps — pick your genres, tell us what you've watched, tell us what you're watching — and your library starts filling in the background while you explore the app

TRACK EVERYTHING YOU WATCH • Mark movies and individual episodes as watched — instantly, no waiting • Continue Watching picks up right where you left off, across every show, with episode titles at a glance • Automatic "new episode" detection for shows you're following • Full watch history with search and filtering

ORGANIZE YOUR LIBRARY • Watchlist, Favorites, and Collections sit side by side in one library screen • Watchlist for movies and shows you want to watch next • Custom collections to group titles your way • Favorites for quick access • Personal 0–5 star ratings and notes — separate from public review scores

DISCOVER WHAT'S NEXT • Trending and newly released movies & TV, powered by TMDB • Personalized recommendations based on your own watch history • "Surprise Me" flip buttons on every row — spin the dice on a random pick from your rails • Universe Guides: the right watch order for connected franchises like Marvel and Star Wars, right where you need them • Upcoming episode calendar for shows you're tracking

KNOW YOUR HABITS • Statistics dashboard: movies/shows/episodes watched, watch time, streaks, top genres • See your all-time favorites and biggest binges

SWITCHING FROM ANOTHER TRACKER? Import your history, watchlist, favorites, and follows directly from TV Time's GDPR export, Trakt, the Refract/Liberator format, or Bingers — with live progress on your Home screen and no manual re-entry.

YOUR DATA, YOUR CONTROL • No account required to use the app • Optional Google Drive backup — stored in your own private Drive folder, only EpisodeX can access it, no EpisodeX server involved • Home screen widgets to see what's next without opening the app

EpisodeX doesn't show ads and doesn't sell your data.
