About The Hunting App
The Hunting App is a GPS and mapping app for hunters. It works offline so you can use it in areas with no mobile coverage.
Features
Maps
Topographic, satellite and hybrid base maps. Map tiles can be downloaded for offline use before a trip.
File import
Open KMZ, KML, GPX, GeoJSON, GeoPDF and TIFF files from your device or shared from another app. Imported layers are shown on top of the base map.
Waypoints
Mark and label points such as camps, vehicles, kills, sightings, stands and gear. Waypoints use category-specific symbols.
Tracking
Record your route using device GPS. Tracks can be paused, resumed, viewed on the map and exported.
Field Lock Mode
A reduced interface with larger touch targets, intended for use while wearing gloves or in poor conditions.

In this update we have added more icons and are working on resolving a bug with some imported maps.
User reviews
love it great for sheep stations
By far the best mapping app I have ever used! Easy to navigate and has so many bonus features, with plenty more on the way. An app that has been designed by the people who use it and need it. What more could you ask for?
Great app, I've started downloading maps and marking points. Easy to use, very intuitive with a great interface. Looking forward to using it on my next hunt. I do a bit of trapping, any chance of a trap icon.
An app that the hunting Community has needed for while. Our saving grace is this app for Public land hunting. Allows imports from DPIRD mapping and has tracking plus way points too. I found this app very easy to use. Thankyou for this app!
Exactly what we have needed in a hunting app. Makes e scouting so much easier and the whole app experience is nicer. It shows that it was created for hunters by hunters.
Absolutely the best app for any hunter using kmz or PDF. Fast, simple and easy to use. Thank you Hunting App team for building an app for the community!
