About Sling Theory - Turn-Based War

Turn-based artillery strategy, one shot at a time. Sling Theory drops you onto destructible neon battlefields: set your angle and power, read the wind, and knock out the enemy slimes.

Two slime factions collide: the teal VOX and the orange PYRE. Every shot reshapes the ground, so the battlefield you start on is never the one you finish on.

WHAT YOU GET

- A 90-mission campaign across nine themed chapters, each ending in its own boss fight, with a story told between the missions.
- 42 weapons: grenades, mortars, snipers, cluster bombs, homing rockets, airstrikes, proximity mines, napalm and more, each with its own feel and sound. One of them, the gravity well, comes with the optional expansion.
- A loadout system: unlock weapons as you progress, weigh them against your carry limit, and build an arsenal that suits your style, with presets, sorting and auto-fill.
- Slime upgrades: more health, a higher carry limit, fire and poison resistance, and more slimes per battle.
- Training matches and four-round tournaments against AI opponents that get tougher as you go, plus custom battles where you set the map, the squad sizes and the hazards.
- A three-lesson tutorial: the basics, the arsenal, and timing and wind.
- Fully destructible terrain, with wind, crates, mines and oil drums, and water that rises in sudden death.
- Neon art, custom sound design, and physics that reward patience.

WHY TURN-BASED ARTILLERY

There is no reflex test here. Just angle, power, wind and terrain. Read the board, pick the right weapon for the job, and take the shot. Miss, and the enemy gets its turn. It is a slower, more deliberate kind of strategy game, and every mission is a small puzzle you solve with the arsenal you chose to bring.

OPTIONAL EXPANSION: THE SINGULARITY

The Singularity adds a tenth chapter of 10 missions, the OMEGA boss, and the gravity-well weapon, which drags nearby slimes toward a single point before it collapses. It is a one-time purchase through Google Play, and it can be restored from the expansion screen.

Aim true. Mind the wind. Sling Theory.

What’s new

Version 4.51 · Updated October 12, 2026

Version 4.51: a map editor. Open MAP MAKER from PLAY to shape the ground, dig tunnels, place the slimes and try your map in Training. Your squad now opens with its front slime. Pick a saved loadout before a tournament and between rounds. When your slime upgrades apply in a tournament, the enemy squad grows to match yours. After Training, SAME MAP plays that map again and NEW MAP previews the next. Campaign missions play their designed maps, and new story scenes follow the boss battles.
