About Are you asleep?
Are you asleep? keeps you from dozing off without noticing — on a night shift, studying late or waiting up for someone.
Every few minutes it quietly asks “Are you asleep?”. Tap “I’m here” and the countdown starts over. No answer? Then it goes through a chain of steps you build yourself:
• Question — “Are you asleep?” again, with no sound
• Vibration — the phone vibrates while it waits for you
• Sound — an alarm with vibration; every sound step can have its own melody
Use as many steps as you like, in any order, each with its own duration. For example: question → vibration → question → vibration → ring.
The last step decides how it ends. By default it never gives up: it keeps waking you until you answer and shows the question again every 10 minutes. Or choose a time after which the checks stop and a “Nobody answered” notification stays.
ANSWER ANYWHERE
In the app, over the lock screen, in the notification or on the home-screen widget.
PAUSE
The countdown freezes and resumes from where it stopped.
RELIABLE
Exact alarms that go off even when the phone is idle. The sound plays at alarm volume, even in silent mode. After a restart everything is back on schedule.
PRIVATE

In English and Russian.

Version 1.0.2 · Updated October 1, 2026
1.0.2: the answer button now says “I’m here” instead of “Yes”. The widget and notifications always use the app’s language, even when it differs from the phone’s.
