Prompi: Teleprompter Camera

A teleprompter camera that records your script one paragraph at a time, so you re-shoot only the paragraph you fluffed.

Every other prompter records one long video. Miss a line four paragraphs in and you start the whole thing again. Prompi cuts at the paragraphs you already wrote, so you re-shoot that one paragraph and the app joins the parts back into a single video, in script order.

🎬 RECORD IN PARTS

Prompi records one take per paragraph and stops on its own at the end of each one. A row of chips under the camera shows what is done and what is left. Tap a finished chip and retake just that part. Nothing else is touched.

When every part is done, join them into one video. The parts stay alongside it, so you can change your mind about any single one of them later.

Want one continuous take instead? Switch to One take and record the old way. The choice sits on the record screen, not buried in settings.

THE SCRIPT SITS UNDER THE LENS

Prompi puts the words directly under the front lens, so your eyes read as looking at the camera rather than down at the screen. Most teleprompter and autocue apps park the text in the middle of the display, which is where the looking down comes from.

IT FOLLOWS YOUR VOICE

Voice following scrolls the script at your speaking pace and waits when you pause, in English and Turkish. Speed mode scrolls at a steady rate you set, from a walk to a run. You can switch between them in the middle of a take, so the cue never runs ahead of you.

WHEN YOU GO OFF SCRIPT

Everyone improvises, skips a line, or starts a sentence again. Prompi notices when it has lost your place, shows you the lines you are probably on, and puts you back with one tap. The recording keeps running the whole time.

WRITE IT, THEN READ IT

Scripts live in one plain text field. Type it, paste it, size it until it is comfortable at arm's length, and start the prompter. Your scripts are unlimited and they are all in the Scripts tab.

There is no account, no login and no server of ours. Your scripts and recordings stay on your phone. Speech recognition runs on the device, so your voice is not sent anywhere for transcription.

Payment is charged to your Google Play account, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancel any time in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
