LumaHold

LumaHold is a flashlight for short tasks: finding your keys, checking the ports under a desk, or walking down a dark hallway. Light comes on fast, and it goes off when you are done.

TWO WAYS TO LIGHT

• Hold to light: press and hold the large panel and the flash turns on. Let go and it turns off. Nothing to remember to switch off.
• Light for 60 seconds: tap once for a minute of light with a large countdown on screen. Tap "Turn off now" whenever you are finished.

The two modes never run at the same time. While the countdown is running the hold panel waits, and while you are holding the 60-second button waits, so one screen never sends mixed signals to the flash.

OFF WHEN YOU LEAVE

The light turns off when you leave the app, lock the screen or take a call. When you come back, LumaHold shows the real state of the flash. It does not quietly switch itself back on.

ALWAYS CLEAR STATUS

• The screen says "Light on" only after the flash has actually turned on.
• If another app is using the camera, LumaHold tells you, and "Try again" checks once when you tap it. It never keeps retrying and never takes the camera from another app.
• If the flash is switched off from Quick Settings or by another app, LumaHold stops its countdown and does not turn it back on.
• On phones without a flash, LumaHold says so plainly and disables both buttons.

MADE TO BE EASY TO USE

• Large touch targets and a wide, soft-cornered hold panel.
• Works with TalkBack. The 60-second button gives you the same light without press-and-hold.
• Supports large system font sizes, landscape and physical keyboards (hold Space or Enter).
• Light, Dark or System appearance.

SIMPLE AND PRIVATE

• No camera permission needed. LumaHold controls the flash through Android's torch API and never opens the camera, takes pictures or records video.
• No account, no ads, no in-app purchases, no internet access and no data collection.
• One screen and nothing else.

LumaHold is an everyday flashlight for short tasks. It is not an emergency, signalling or professional lighting device.
