At the British Raj, we have a great sense of history, and our name derives from the period of British rule in the Indian sub-continent. This period took place between 1858 and 1947, although the name is also used to refer to the period of dominion. We are extremely proud to offer up the finest Indian cuisine in Surrey and our menus reflect and properly represent over 5,000 years of history and cuisine from the various parts of the sub-continent.
