Thaun

Stop guessing. Start working.

Thaun helps students, freelancers, and remote workers in Nepal find the perfect place to work outside home — before they leave the door.
No more arriving at a café with dead outlets. No more weak Wi-Fi killing your deadline. No more noisy corners when you need to focus. Thaun shows you real productivity conditions for cafés, libraries, and workspaces across Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Pokhara — so you always know what you're walking into.

FIND YOUR THAU
Filter spaces by what actually matters for getting work done:
• Wi-Fi quality & speed scores
• Noise level (quiet / moderate / loud)
• Charging outlet availability
• Crowd level & best hours to visit
• Seating comfort & laptop-friendliness
• Student affordability

DISCOVER HIDDEN GEMS
Go beyond Google Maps. Thaun indexes spaces specifically rated for productivity — from cozy neighbourhood cafés in Imadol to rooftop spots in Jhamsikhel that nobody talks about.

EARN THAU POINTS
Every check-in, review, and photo earns you Thau Points. Redeem them for free coffee and discounts at partner cafés across the city. The more you explore, the more you earn.

BUILT FOR NEPAL
Thaun is made specifically for how people work in Kathmandu — understanding local café culture, power backup realities, and what a remote worker in New Baneshwor actually needs at 2pm on a Tuesday.
Whether you're a freelancer chasing a deadline, a student prepping for exams, or a remote worker who just needs reliable internet and a good Americano — Thaun finds your Thau.
