Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Manawar was established by ICAR in 2018. Presently the KVK is functioning under the jurisdiction of RVSKVV, Gwalior. The climate is semi-arid with an annual average rainfall of 828 mm. Rainfall is generally unusual, unpredictable and causes problems for farmers. The maximum temperature is 45 C while the minimum is 7 C. The main occupation of the tribes is agriculture. The KVK is functioning in the 11th agro-climatic zone of the state i.e. Jhabua Hills Zone in which the soil is medium black soil, loamy soil, (reddish yellow soil), skeletal soil.
