With this app, Koenig & Bauer offers users support in authenticating banknotes.

Whether you’re at the supermarket or travelling the world, authenticate your banknotes in seconds with easy to understand results.

In banknote printing, specific printing processes with unique characteristics are used to make it more difficult to counterfeit banknotes. This uniqueness is used in the app for authentication by means of simple scanning the banknote. In this case, it helps ValiCash distinguish genuine banknotes from counterfeits.

Please note that only euro banknotes are currently supported. Support for other currencies is planned and will be implemented at a later date, stay tuned!

Please note that ValiCash for Android on some smartphone models is currently only supported to a limited extent. This means that only manual authentication support is currently available on these devices.
We are working on automatic authentication for many more smartphone models. To speed up the process for your smartphone model, install the app on your smartphone and leave it installed. The more users with the same smartphone model install the app, the faster automatic authentication of banknotes for the model will be implemented.
