Lumiere: What to Watch Tonight

Stuck asking “what should we watch?” Lumiere turns movie night into a few swipes—not another hour of scrolling.

Choose movies or TV, swipe the genres you’d actually watch, then swipe titles. When you have enough likes, tap Pick now for tonight’s finalist—with a match reason and where-to-watch hints. Say Watching this, or Not tonight and keep going.

Your likes stay on this device as a simple watchlist: still to watch, what you’re watching, and a clear path back to Find something tonight.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick Movies or TV
2. Swipe genres to set your taste
3. Swipe titles—right to save, left to pass
4. Pick now for one title tonight
5. Come back to your on-device list anytime

WHY IT FEELS DIFFERENT
• Decision engine, not a catalog browser
• Score-aware cards with TMDB ratings, plus IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes when available
• Peek at cast and crew without leaving the deck
• Cinema-night UI built for the couch, not endless grids

FREE VS LUMIERE PREMIUM

Internet required for discovery. Lumiere helps you decide what to watch—it does not stream movies or TV inside the app. Not affiliated with Netflix, Disney+, IMDb, or Rotten Tomatoes.

Made by Knox Studios. Stop debating. Start watching.

What is Lumiere?
Lumiere is a gesture-first movie and TV discovery app from Knox Studios. You swipe genres and titles, build an on-device watchlist, then get one pick for tonight. It helps you decide what to watch; it does not stream video.

How does it work?
1. Choose Movies or TV.
2. Swipe genres you like.
3. Swipe titles into your list.
4. Tap Pick now for tonight’s finalist.
5. Commit with Watching this, or pass with Not tonight.

Does it replace Netflix?
No. Lumiere is a decision and watchlist tool. You still play titles in your own streaming apps.

Does my list sync to the cloud?
Liked titles and taste stay on this device. Premium named playlists are also saved on-device. There is no cross-device cloud playlist sync in the current app.
