Galea Event Manager (Licensee Edition) is the on-site companion app for event staffing teams using the Galea workforce management platform. Built for badge scanners, floor supervisors, and staffing coordinators, it turns any Android device into a fast, reliable check-in station for event crews.

KEY FEATURES

• Badge Scanning — Scan employee badges using your device's camera (powered by ML Kit) to instantly pull up shift details and clock staff in or out. Continuous scanning mode lets you process a line of employees back-to-back without extra taps.

• Clock In/Out Log — View every position and shift for the selected show in one filterable, sortable list. Filter by clocked-in/out status, position grid, or search by name, and clock people in or out directly from the list.

• Offline Mode — Working somewhere with no signal? Download the full staffing roster for a show ahead of time and keep scanning and clocking staff in/out with no internet connection. Data syncs back to the server once you're back online.

• Instant Feedback — A short vibration and confirmation tone (both independently toggleable) confirm every successful clock in/out, so you always know the scan registered — no need to double check.

• Battery-Friendly Scanning — Set a custom idle timeout so the camera automatically powers down after a period of inactivity, with an on-screen countdown warning and one-tap "Keep Scanning" to avoid an unwanted shutdown mid-shift.

• Show & Position Details — Select the show you're working, and review assigned vs. actual clock times, position/grid assignments, agency, and adjustment notes for every shift.

• Light & Dark Themes — Choose Light, Dark, or follow your device's system setting.

• Secure Login — Sign in with your partner code and PIN, with credentials stored securely on-device.

This app is intended for use by staffing partners and crews operating under a Galea Event Manager account. You'll need an active partner code from your Galea account administrator to sign in.
