Khandaq — Secure Messenger

Khandaq is a free, secure messenger that keeps your conversations truly private.

Whether it's corporations or governments, digital surveillance is everywhere. Khandaq connects you with friends and family without anyone else listening in. It's completely free, open source, and has no ads.

Built on the decentralized Tox protocol, Khandaq needs no phone number and no email to sign up — your identity is a cryptographic key that only you control.

• PRIVATE MESSAGING — Send instant messages secured with end-to-end encryption.
• VOICE & VIDEO CALLS — Talk face to face over encrypted calls, completely free.
• FILE SHARING — Send photos, videos and files with no artificial size limits.
• GROUPS — Create encrypted group chats.
• NO PHONE NUMBER — Register with a Tox ID, not your personal number.
• ENCRYPTED — Everything is encrypted with open-source cryptography. Only you and the person you're talking to can read your messages.
• DECENTRALIZED — There are no central servers to raid, shut down or subpoena. The network is made of its users.
• OPEN SOURCE — Khandaq's code is open for anyone to inspect.

Why Khandaq?
No corporate interests. No hidden agendas. No tracking. Just secure, private communication that puts you in control of your data.
