About Numero Chip

Numero Chip helps tour guides keep track of who is with them.

Participants wear a small Numero Chip wristband. The app detects those wristbands over Bluetooth and shows, at a glance, who is present and who is missing — so a guide can act before the group moves on rather than counting heads and hoping.

FOR GUIDES IN THE FIELD
• See presence and absence update live during a tour
• Get a clear list of who is missing, not just a number
• Call a missing participant directly from their entry
• Works fully offline — tours and rosters are cached on the device, because mountains, caves and old towns rarely have signal

FOR TOUR COMPANIES
• Guides, tours and participants are managed from a web dashboard
• Accounts are provisioned by the company; there is no public sign-up
• Wristbands are assigned to participants per tour

REQUIRES NUMERO CHIP HARDWARE
This app needs Numero Chip BLE wristbands to detect anyone. Without them it will run and show your tours, but the scan screen will find nothing. A built-in demonstration mode is available on demo accounts so the workflow can be seen without hardware.

WHY THE APP ASKS FOR LOCATION PERMISSION
Android requires location permission for any app that scans for Bluetooth devices. Numero Chip does not collect, store or transmit your location, and does not use it for anything other than being allowed to scan for wristbands.

PRIVACY
Participant data belongs to the tour company, which decides what is collected and for how long. Numero Chip processes it on their instructions and never sells it or uses it for advertising. Full policy: https://numerochip.com/privacy.html
