"If you desire the rectification of your heart, or your son, or your brother, or whoever you wish to rectify, then place him in the gardens of the Quran and in the companionship of the Quran: Allah will rectify him, whether he likes it or not, by His permission."

This is advice from one of Islam's greatest scholars to his student Al-Rabi' ibn Sulayman (رحمهما الله). It is the spirit behind this app: to place you in the gardens of the Quran, رياض القرآن.

📖 FOUR MUSHAF LAYOUTS
Read the Mushaf you already know. The King Fahad Complex Madani Mushaf, all 604 pages, matches the printed copy: illuminated frames, ornate surah headings, ayah rosettes. The Indo-Pak script is here too, in 13, 15 and 16 lines (847, 610 and 548 pages), following the printed page layout.
Whichever you pick, the app works in it: reading, navigation, memorization, revision, down to page cards and page-transition drills. Choose it on the welcome screens, with a live preview of each, or later in Settings. The Indo-Pak layouts are Ḥafṣ only.
Tap a word for its translation, root and notes; long-press a verse for its translation and tafsir.

🎙️ RECITATION CHECKING ON YOUR DEVICE
Recite aloud and the app follows word by word, colouring each one: correct, mispronounced, skipped, hesitant. It applies your riwāyah's tajwīd rules (idghām, iqlāb, ikhfāʾ, iẓhār) and knows how words join, so it judges your recitation, not just the letters. While revising, record yourself and reveal the page to see what it caught. It runs offline; nothing is uploaded.

🎓 RECITE FROM MEMORY (TASMĪʿ)
A guided memorization session ends with the page closed. You recite from memory, the app listens and names the verses you stumbled on. Pass and the page is marked memorized; slip and it drills those verses and tests you again.

🧠 REVISION THAT KEEPS UP
Spaced repetition (FSRS) sets each card's interval from how well you remember it, and spreads the load so reviews do not pile up. Page cards, page-transition cards and verse-group cards cover the joins as well as the pages.
The app also remembers where you hesitate or slip and paints those spots on the page as a heat map. The ones that keep coming back become drill cards, and a page that keeps slipping gets a short drill to rebuild it.

🔁 SIMILAR VERSES (MUTASHĀBIHĀT)
Verses that look almost identical are the classic memorization killers. They are paired from a curated set of over 1,300 matches and come up as their own cards.

🕌 FIVE RIWĀYĀT
Read, listen and recite in Ḥafṣ or Shuʿbah ʿan ʿĀṣim, Warsh or Qālūn ʿan Nāfiʿ, and al-Dūrī ʿan Abī ʿAmr. Changing riwāyah changes everything at once: the Mushaf text, the recitations, the checker's tajwīd rules.

Bookmark any verse with notes and coloured tags, then filter them. A silent blessing at Fajr, Hifz reminders at midday and evening, a weekly tafsir reminder: all optional.
