Vitals Tap

Turn your Wear OS watch into a simple manual counting timer for heart rate and respirations.

Choose heart rate or respirations, select a 15-, 30-, or 60-second count, then tap the watch once for each heartbeat or breath. Vitals Tap calculates the corresponding rate per minute when time expires.

Designed for quick, one-handed use:

• Full-screen tap target during measurements
• 15-, 30-, and 60-second timers
• Immediate tap count and time remaining
• Optional tap and completion haptics
• Optional three-second countdown and five-second warning
• Save results to local history
• Optional watch-face complication shows your latest saved vital at a glance
• Separate default durations for heart rate and respirations
• Auto-save and keep-awake settings
• Standalone Wear OS app; no phone required
• Works offline

Add the Vitals Tap complication to a compatible watch face to see your latest saved heart-rate or respiration count and open the app with one tap.

Privacy:

Vitals Tap does not use the watch's optical heart-rate sensor. Measurements and settings remain on the watch. The app does not require an account, send information to a server, or store patient-identifiable information.

Important:

Vitals Tap is a manual counting aid, not a medical diagnostic device. Results should not replace professional medical judgment or approved monitoring equipment. Consult a qualified health professional about health concerns.
