JK BMS Remote

JK BMS Remote shows you what your JK-BMS is doing when you are not there.

A small gateway plugs into the BMS and reports to a cloud account. You get live readings and push alerts on your phone from anywhere with a signal — no Home Assistant to maintain, no VPN, no port forwarding, and no static IP on the site.


WHAT YOU SEE

- Live pack state of charge, pack voltage, current and power
- Every cell voltage, with the lowest and highest cell called out
- Cell delta and cell temperatures
- Capacity, remaining capacity, cycle capacity and cycle count
- History, so a slow drift is visible as a trend rather than a snapshot
- The full BMS parameter set, including protection thresholds and current limits


ALERTS

Set your own thresholds. When a cell goes out of line, a temperature crosses a limit, or current moves unexpectedly, the alert reaches your phone instead of waiting for you to open the app. Alerts you have already seen are kept in history so you can see what happened and when, and clear the ones you have dealt with.


FIRMWARE

Gateway firmware updates are delivered over the air and are signed. The app tells you when an update is available and when the gateway has applied it.


GROUPS AND SEARCH

Group your gateways by site, vehicle, or installation, and filter the list by group. Search finds a gateway by name when you have a lot of them.

REQUIREMENTS

- A JK-BMS, and an ESP32 development board flashed with the JK BMS Remote gateway firmware. You supply the board; no hardware is sold.
- An internet connection at the battery site, and at the phone
- Android 6.0 and up
- A JK BMS Remote account


SETUP IN THREE STEPS

1. Flash the gateway firmware onto your own ESP32 board.
2. Register the gateway and connect it to your Wi-Fi.
3. Sign in and add the gateway to your account.


JK-BMS IS THE ONLY SUPPORTED BRAND

JK BMS Remote supports JK-BMS only. No other battery management system is supported, and support for other brands is not planned.


NO HARDWARE IS SOLD HERE

JK BMS Remote is a software service. No gateway, kit, or board is sold, given away with a subscription, or bundled with this app. You bring your own ESP32 development board and flash it yourself. The paid tier is for the monitoring service, not for hardware.
