Jib: Home Improvement Planner

Snap a photo of any home repair and Jib's AI plans it: the steps, materials, tools, cost, time, and whether you legally need a tradie. Jib is the home maintenance app and DIY planner for busy households.

Your house to-do list never ends. A leaking tap, peeling paint, a fence that needs replacing, a deck due for oiling. Jib turns that mental list into a home maintenance plan you can actually finish, room by room.

SNAP IT, SAY IT, OR TYPE IT
Spotted a job? Take a photo and Jib works out what needs doing. Hands full? Tap the mic and say it: "pull the weeds out of the back garden and fix the side gate". Jib writes each job up and files it in the right room.

A FULL PLAN FOR EVERY DIY JOB
Step-by-step instructions, a materials list, the tools you need, a realistic cost estimate and how long it will take. No YouTube rabbit hole, no half-finished weekend projects.

DIY SAFE OR TRADIE REQUIRED
Every job gets a clear verdict: green for DIY safe, red for tradie required. Jib checks the licensing rules where you live and tells you which step needs a licensed electrician, plumber or gasfitter.

GET TRADIE QUOTES THE EASY WAY
For tradie jobs, Jib writes a job brief to send when asking for quotes, with your photos attached, so tradies can price it without a phone call.

SHARE THE LIST WITH YOUR PARTNER
Share your house with your partner or housemates. Everyone sees the same home repair jobs, shopping list, photos and tool inventory, and anyone can tick things off.

SHOPPING LISTS THAT BUILD THEMSELVES
Materials from every job, plus any tools you still need, flow into one shopping list with rough prices, so one trip to the hardware store covers everything.

HOME TOOL INVENTORY
Take one photo of your garage or shed and Jib lists every tool it can see. Every job then knows what you already own, so you only buy what's missing.

JOBS THAT FIT YOUR TIME
Every job shows roughly how long it takes. Got 30 minutes while the kids nap? Pick a job you can finish.

HOME MAINTENANCE REMINDERS
Recurring reminders for gutter cleaning, smoke alarm checks, air conditioner servicing, pest inspections and every seasonal home maintenance checklist job.

ADVICE FOR YOUR CLIMATE
Jib factors in your local climate, soil, storm season and termite risk, so the advice suits your house.

BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS
Every finished job becomes a before-and-after record of your home, room by room. Handy when you sell, rent or claim insurance.
