About SnakeRush: Snakes & Ladders
SnakeRush: Snakes & Ladders — the classic race, plus the board it came from.
Climb ladders, dodge snakes and race to the final square. Play against smart bots, pass one phone around the family, or take on today's Daily Challenge. Everything works offline, with no account and no sign-up.
PLAY THE ORIGINAL: MOKSHA PATAM
Snakes & Ladders began in India as Moksha Patam, also known as Gyan Chaupar — a game of virtues and vices. SnakeRush includes a 72-square heritage board where every ladder is a virtue (Tapasya, Daya, Dana, Dharma, Bhakti…) and every snake a vice (Irshya, Dvesha, Ahamkara…). Land exactly on square 68, Vaikuntha, to finish. Open the Board guide during a match to read what each square means, and visit the Origins screen for the story from 18th-century cloth boards to the game you know today.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY
• Vs AI — race 1 to 3 bots at Easy, Medium or Hard
• Pass & Play — 2 to 6 players on one phone or tablet
• Daily Challenge — a solo run with the same rolls for everyone, a par to beat and 3 undos
THREE BOARDS, YOUR HOUSE RULES
Classic 10×10, Quick 7×7 for short matches, and Moksha Patam 9×8. Before each match, toggle the rules you grew up with: exact roll to finish, roll a 6 to start, extra turn on a 6.
SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY
• A 7-day login streak
• 3 fresh missions a day
• A new Daily Challenge every day
UNLOCK AS YOU PLAY
Earn XP from every match and play to unlock 7 board themes — Classic Royal, Moksha Patam, Jungle Adventure, Candy Land, Space Galaxy, Ancient Temple, Neon Arcade — plus 5 dice styles. Nothing can be bought. Chase 14 achievements and track your games, ladders climbed, snakes bitten and best streak in Stats.
MADE FOR THE FAMILY
Simple rules and a How to play guide. Sound, music and haptics you can switch off, Relaxed / Normal / Quick game speed, an animation quality setting that respects your device's reduce-motion preference, and Light, Dark or System appearance.
PHONES, TABLETS AND FOLDABLES
Portrait and landscape layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and foldables.
OFFLINE AND RESPECTFUL
No internet needed to play. No account. No in-app purchases. Ads appear only between matches — never during one — and at most once every three matches. Where the law requires it you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice any time from Settings → Privacy options. Share a result, rate the game, contact support, and read the privacy policy and open-source licences right from Settings.
HOW TO PLAY
1. Roll on your turn and move that many squares
2. Land on the foot of a ladder to climb it
3. Land on a snake's head to slide down
