About Cable Tester: Find Bad Cables
Tired of cables that charge painfully slowly, or only work if you bend them just right?
Often the culprit isn't your charger — it's the cable.
Cable Tester reads the real charging current and voltage from your phone's battery sensor and grades each cable S·A·B·C·D in about a minute.
Toss the bad cables. Keep only the good ones.
✅ Perfect when you
• Sort the pile of cables in your drawer and keep only the good ones
• Check whether a new cable is as fast as advertised
• Find out if sudden slow charging is the cable's fault
• Look for a cable that really fast-charges
• Pick the best cable for your bedside, office or car
■ Real measurements
• Charging current (mA) and battery voltage (V) every second
• Live gauge of the power actually going into the battery (W)
• Instant charging speed (%/h) from the battery charge counter
■ Catch bad cables with a stability score
• Scores 0–100 from how much the 10-second average power fluctuates
• Deducts points when charging drops out mid-test to catch loose connections
• S·A·B·C·D grade from average power and stability
■ Compare with history
• Saves max/average power, stability score and grade for each cable
• Compare cables side by side and keep the best one
■ How to use
1. Plug in the charger with the cable you want to test.
2. Tap "Start cable test" and wait at least a minute.
3. Avoid using other apps while measuring for better accuracy.
■ Notes
• Power shown is what reaches the battery (battery voltage × charging current). It's normal to read 15–20% below the charger's rated output.
• If your phone slows charging because of heat or battery protection, readings drop too.
• Some manufacturers don't provide these sensor values.
