WHAT IT DOES
• Live arrival times for all 496 NYC subway stations, read from the MTA's public real-time feeds
• Every line: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7, A C E, B D F M, G, J Z, L, N Q R W, the S shuttles, and the Staten Island Railway
• Uptown and downtown times side by side, or pin the one direction you actually ride
• Times refresh every 30 seconds, so the number on screen is the number on the platform
• Current service alerts for the lines at your station
• A full interactive NYC subway map you can pan and zoom

FINDING YOUR STATION
• Search by station, by line, or by neighborhood — 73 neighborhoods across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx
• Nearest stations sorted by distance, with optional location access
• Save favorites down to the line and direction you take, so your morning train is the first thing you see
• Dark theme by default, light theme if you prefer

BUILT FOR THE COMMUTE
Open it and the next arrivals are already there, with the subway map one tap away. There is no signup wall, no ads and no upsell. Every feature works without an account, and your favorites stay on your phone.

WEEKENDS, DELAYS AND REROUTES
Service changes are the part of the subway that catches you out. SubwayTimes reads the same real-time feed the platform countdown clocks use, so a rerouted train shows up as an arrival at the station it is actually stopping at, and the alerts panel tells you which lines are running with changes right now.

WHAT IT IS NOT
Subway and Staten Island Railway only. No buses, no LIRR, no Metro-North, no trip planner, nothing else competing for the screen.

WHERE THE TIMES COME FROM
Arrival times and service alerts are republished from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's public GTFS-Realtime feeds, https://api.mta.info

SubwayTimes is an independent app. It does not represent a government entity, and it is not affiliated with, authorized by or endorsed by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority or the City of New York. Arrival times are predictions published by the MTA and can change without notice, so check posted signs and station announcements too.

Location is used only to sort stations by distance. It is processed on your device and is not collected or shared.
