The Colombian Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (Fecolsog) will have this application which will have the purpose of disseminating relevant information in the area of ​​gynecology and obstetrics, and facilitating the determination of biometric parameters based on the percentile for the Colombian population.
The software will be aimed at personnel who work in the area of ​​women's health. Said software will provide the option of accessing information on topics of interest in Gynecology and Obstetrics, and also accessing calculators that allow one to obtain the corresponding percentile according to age, for estimated fetal weight, head circumference, biparietal diameter, abdominal perimeter and femoral length.
This proposal will contain a response to the project that would contain its main function of calculating the percentile to help in the evaluation of fetal growth, which will be based on tables of Colombian pregnant women.
The proposed development approach will calculate the values ​​of the fetus in its different stages, which will help in an agile, precise and functional way to make decisions in the care of pregnant women.
In the application the specialist will have the possibility of accessing information that allows him to make decisions on topics of interest in Gynecology and obstetrics; and that you can access this application that allows you to determine how fetal growth is in percentile terms based on data from Colombian women.
For the software development plan, it was guided by the tables from the magazine “Supplemento Revista Colombiana de Obstetricia y Gynecología - 2012”.
The application will have another module which will calculate the ETV risk (based on resolution-3280-de-2018 ANNEX 11. Risk factors for thromboembolic events during pregnancy-childbirth and the puerperium).
The application will have another module that, according to dictated input parameters, will recommend the best contraceptive method to use (the module will be created based on the article from the World Health Organization and which contains the WHEEL WITH THE MEDICAL CRITERIA OF ELIGIBILITY FOR THE USE OF CONTRACEPTIVES WHO 2015).
The application will have another module of general recommendations for the treatment of PAD (Placental Accretism Spectrum) in Colombia - Questions and recommendations (based on https://revista.fecolsog.org/index.php/rcog/article/view/ 3877/3831). Depending on the question you select, the application will give you a recommendation.
