About Sky Valley Insider

The Sky Valley Insider app rewards you for exploring the Sky Valley of Northwest, Washington State – about one hour north of Seattle. Collect points as you visit places up and down the valley along Highway 2 and redeem those points for discounts at local businesses.

The winter months offer majestic views of snow-capped mountains, cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and so much more.

In the spring, visitors come to hike among the wildflowers and enjoy one of our many unique classes ranging from mushroom identification to hunter safety. Spring is the best time to test your rafting/kayaking skills on some of the best whitewater in the state.

Summer is festival season in Sky Valley. The Sultan Shindig, Gold Dust Days, Index Arts Festival, Skykomish Old Timers Picnic, Sky Art Week, Return of the Salmon Celebration, Skykomish Music Festival, Sky Valley Farm Festival are among the most popular yearly events. Summer is also when our campgrounds come to life as visitors from all over the world enjoy fishing, rafting, hiking, and relaxing in our scenic forests.

In the fall, there is no place on earth more beautiful than the Sky Valley. The changing leaves create a breathtaking spectacle. Take a Sunday drive on the Steven’s Pass Scenic Greenway or hire a guide to take you through the valley on horseback to take in the splendor.

With a Sky Valley Insider account, you can collect points, and redeem them for goods or services at Rewards locations up and down the valley along Highway 2.

Explore
The Explore button takes you to the map of the Sky Valley, which has pins indicating places of interest where you can collect points. Clicking on each pin on the map gives you more information about that location.

Collect Points
Many locations around Sky Valley are assigned a point value, which can be collected when you are within GPS range of a location and have a connection to the internet. Pushing the “Collect Points” button while physically visiting a location will add the location’s points to your point total. To keep earning points, explore more locations. You can track your point total on Your Account page.

Redeem Rewards
Once you collect enough points, those points can be redeemed for goods or services at Rewards locations, which are indicated in the app. Select the place where you would like to redeem your reward. Hitting the “Redeem Rewards” button while physically at a Rewards location will bring up a key pad for the place owner to enter a code to deduct points from your point total in exchange for your reward. You must have an internet connection in order to redeem points.
