About Olymp Dome

Olymp Dome is a handheld-style analog light meter for 35mm and medium-format film photographers, cinema students, and photo-club mentors.

Point the live viewfinder at the scene, or rotate the EV ring, until the galvanometer needle kisses the crimson null hash. Read shutter speed and aperture from concentric analog scales and walk away with a pair you can set on the camera.

Work in incident or reflected mode with a tiltable 3D white dome and a classic analog face. Tap to lock EV when the needle sits on the null. The dial is a complete field instrument, not a shooting log.

Sunny-16 lighting cards cover full sun, light haze, cloudy-bright, heavy overcast, sunset, snow, and tungsten interiors so you can sanity-check every reading.

Keep a film cabinet of classic black-and-white and color emulsions, each with ISO/EI and long-exposure compensation curves. The push and pull advisor proposes a new exposure index with contrast notes for the process you have in mind.

The filter drawer applies yellow, orange, red, green, polarizer, and ND chips as stop subtractions on the dial at once, so you do not need separate math in the field.

Depth-of-field and hyperfocal rings are ready for 28 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm, 85 mm, and 135 mm lenses. A flash guide-number calculator folds in subject distance and bounce loss.

A Home Screen widget shows your current ISO and a Sunny-16 shutter/aperture pair at a glance. Scene exam lets you combine a lighting card, a film stock, and a filter, then choose the correct pair before the needle rests.

Null the galvanometer, apply film and filter factors, and leave with a shutter and aperture from a live dial.
