Shaded Path is a walking map that calculates building shadows directly to guide you along shaded routes that receive less sunlight.

● Walk Only in the Shade
Set your starting and ending points, and it will compare the shortest route with the shaded route. You can see at a glance how much sunlight you are saving with "N minutes of sunlight."

● Shadows by Time of Day
Move the slider, and the shadows will follow in real-time. Check the shade in advance for now, one hour from now, and your commute home.

● Anywhere
We have captured shadows for all of Seoul, 21 locations in Japan including Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Fukuoka, and Sapporo, and 24 global travel destinations such as Bangkok, Taipei, Paris, and New York.

● True Value for Travel
Search by station exit number, such as "Gangnam Station Exit 7" or "Hakata Station Nishi 4," and zoom in on the map to see the exit number. Searches in Korea even distinguish by subway line.

● Make your walks enjoyable

Recommended neighborhood loop routes, save frequently visited paths, step and shade reports, shade missions, and badges. After your walk, show off your "I saved N minutes of sunlight by staying in the shade" card.

● Honest data

Shades are calculated based on building heights and the sun's position. We provide honest feedback on cloudy days and buildings for which actual measurements are unavailable. You can report incorrect terrain with just a single photo.
