About gCon Shield: control de acceso

gCon Shield is the gCon system's gatehouse application. The security guard verifies who enters, receives packages, and records shift updates from their phone, and everything is instantly registered with the condominium.

It's designed for a gatehouse counter: short steps, large font, and nothing to memorize between shifts.

WHAT IT DOES

Access Validation via QR and NFC
It reads the code generated by the resident when announcing their visit, or the tag of the fixed staff member. The movement is recorded immediately, and if the access point has a remote-opening door, the app offers to open it. If someone enters with the owner and no one processes their entry, you can register their exit without getting stuck and without scanning the code twice.

Document Verification
The name entered by the resident doesn't always match the one on their ID. Correct it instantly, along with the vehicle information and any other relevant details.

Registered Persons
The condominium's registry: permanent residents, service staff, and visitors. Search by name or ID number, filter by property, and check each person's access schedule before granting entry.

Packages
Register the package under the property's name and its owner. Search by number or last name; either will work, as the delivery person rarely has both. You can take a photo of the item received, and upon delivery, there's a record of who picked it up.

Shift Updates
Record what happened, with photos if necessary. For a specific property or for the entire condominium.

Control Sheet
The day's activities on a single screen, so you can see how the shift is progressing without having to review paperwork.

WHAT YOU NEED TO USE IT

gCon Shield is a work tool, not a free application. You need a security guard user account provided by your condominium's management company: without these credentials, the application has nothing to display.

ABOUT THE PERMITS

Camera: for reading QR codes and for taking photos of packages and updates.
NFC: for tags for permanent and service staff.

Bluetooth: for opening doors remotely, where available.

None are mandatory. Without a camera, you can search by ID number, and without Bluetooth, movement is still registered and you open the door manually.
