About AirCert: HVAC Service Records
AirCert is the service record and refrigerant compliance app for US HVAC/R contractors.
Fill the paperwork in on site, email the customer a PDF before you leave, and let the app work out the federal leak rules for you.
WHAT YOU CAN PRODUCE
• Maintenance / Tune-up Report
• Startup / Commissioning Report
• Heating Safety / Combustion Report
• Service Call Report
• Unsafe Condition Notice (Red Tag), free forever
• Refrigerant Compliance Record, laid out to 40 CFR 84.106(l)
• Site Equipment Register
Every record prints on US Letter, with your firm's name, address, EPA 608 number and logo.
THE FEDERAL LEAK RULES, WORKED OUT
Most small firms have never worked a leak rate out. AirCert does it every time you log refrigerant:
• the rate, by either method 40 CFR 84.106(b) allows
• the threshold for that kind of equipment: 20% commercial refrigeration, 30% industrial process, 10% comfort cooling
• whether you are over it, and the exact date the repair is due
• the verification test, the inspection cadence, the retrofit plan and the chronic leak report, each with its own deadline
• and the clocks STOP when the rule says they stop: four clean quarters, or a follow-up test that passes
It knows the difference between the AIM Act rule for HFCs at 15 lb and CAA §608 for R-22 at 50 lb, and it will never tell a residential AC technician that a rule applies to them when it does not.
A REGISTER THAT REMEMBERS
Customers, sites, areas and every unit on them: nameplate, refrigerant, full charge and how the charge was established. Tap a unit to see which rule it falls under, in plain English, with the citation. The Home screen shows what your firm owes right now, soonest deadline first.
FREE FOREVER
• The leak rate calculator. No account, no subscription.
• The Unsafe Condition Notice, from start to send. You will never be stopped from red-tagging a dangerous appliance because of a card that expired.
YOUR RECORDS STAY YOURS
Everything is kept on your phone. Back it up to Google Drive or your computer whenever you like. If you stop subscribing, nothing is deleted: federal rules make the owner keep refrigerant records for three years, and for three years after the appliance is retired.
WORKS WHERE YOU WORK
Offline in a plant room, in a crawl space, on a roof.
Subscription: AirCert Solo, for one technician, monthly or yearly, through Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel it in the Play Store.
