The Ontario 511 mobile app provides truck drivers with easy access to provincial highway traveller information including places to safely stop and rest while moving goods.
The Ontario 511 app provides near real-time highway and traffic information to Ontario truck drivers.
This app features a scrollable, zoomable map that displays:
• Traffic speeds
• Incidents and closures, such as collisions and other road hazards
• Over 600 Cameras
• Construction and roadwork
• Truck rest areas
• Truck inspection stations
• Seasonal loads
Other features of the app include:
• Drive Mode Alerts that notify drivers with an audio alert of incidents, closures and truck rest areas directly ahead
