About Micro Text To Speech

Micro Text To Speach is an Android text-to-speech app that converts written text into spoken audio using voice models based on next-generation Kaldi technology, with support for Piper or Coqui voices.

When the app is launched for the first time, users can choose a preferred voice model. The selected model is downloaded from Hugging Face. Internet access is only required for this initial voice model download.

After the voice model has been downloaded, text-to-speech processing works fully offline. This allows users to generate speech without requiring an active internet connection and helps keep text processing private on the device.
