Jeejee: Markdown, LaTeX & Ink

Jeejee brings three ways of writing together: jot things down in Markdown, typeset beautiful math and reports in LaTeX, and write by hand on paper-like pages, even annotating lecture PDFs directly. Your documents stay on your device, and notes need no account.

Made for students, researchers and anyone in STEM: organize class notes, write lab reports and theses, work through equations and prepare for exams.

Markdown
• Edit and view, with a side-by-side layout on wide screens
• Headings, lists, to-dos, tables, code and quotes

LaTeX
• Built-in typesetting engine compiles to PDF right in the app, offline, with no TeX installation needed
• Typesets with XeLaTeX, so Unicode and Chinese text just work
• Source and PDF in separate tabs, with error lines clearly marked
• Export to PDF

Handwriting
• Pen, highlighter, eraser, lasso and shape tools
• Custom pen colors and widths, with your favorite colors in the toolbar
• Light and dark blank, ruled, grid and dotted paper, with multiple pages, page thumbnails and quick navigation
• Add text boxes and images right on the page; drag, resize, rotate and crop them
• Turn a PDF into an annotation copy and write on your slides, leaving the original untouched
• Undo and redo; save a page as an image
• Opens .jeejee handwriting files made with 26.9.25 or later, including older handwriting files

Files
• Local and System Folder locations; import copies from folders on the device or in cloud services
• Markdown, plain text, CSV, LaTeX, PDF and .jeejee files
• Recents, Favorites, search and restoring from Recently Deleted
• Share the complete .jeejee file from the system share sheet, keeping its name

Stickers
• A sticker panel and sticker store to drop stickers onto handwriting pages

Privacy
Jeejee has no ads. Your documents stay on your device and are never sent to the developer, and LaTeX compiles locally without sending content to any server. To improve the app, Jeejee collects crash reports and usage statistics; they exclude document contents, file names and account information, and are not linked to your identity. A Google account is needed only for the sticker store, to remember the sticker packs you get; paid packs are handled by Google Play.
