About Hexmeadow: Tile Landscapes

Place and rotate hex tiles to grow a small valley. Matching terrain edges score points. When you enclose a perfectly matched tile, it adds tiles to your stack, and forest, lake and rail quests reward planning ahead. Each valley takes about 5 to 12 minutes.

Every tile has six sectors: meadow, forest, field, village, water and rail. Terrains join across an edge when they match. Water and rail must line up with the tile beside them, so a mismatch there is not allowed. Other mismatches are legal and score nothing. A preview shows the tile you hold and the next two, with any quests on them. Undo takes back your last placements, up to the most recent swap or extra tiles.

The campaign has 48 valleys in six regions of eight. Each valley unlocks after one star in the previous valley, and the next region opens after six one-star clears in the current region. Early valleys teach rotation, placement and matching edges. Later valleys add water that must close, and rail that must connect.

Quests are fixed before you play. A forest quest completes with 12 connected forest tiles. A rail quest completes with 8 connected rail tiles. A lake quest completes when a water area of at least 3 tiles has no open water edge. Each quest adds bonus tiles to your stack.

Stuck on a tile? A Swap token replaces the tile you hold with the next one drawn. You start with 3 Swap tokens, and you can also earn them for first one-star clears of some valleys. Swap ×10 is a pack of ten Swap tokens. Swap tile can also be offered as a video, up to three times per valley run.

When your stack runs out, you can watch a short video for five more tiles, once per valley. Declining ends the valley.

A daily valley opens after valley 8. Each date has one saved run and a best score. Free valleys unlock after valley 1. They are replayable valleys with no stars and no unlocks.

The game contains ads and offers in-app purchases. An interstitial ad called Valley break can appear only when you leave a valley summary screen. It never appears before your fourth completed valley, never more than once every two completed valleys, and never less than 120 seconds apart. It never appears during play. Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that removes Valley break ads; rewarded offers remain.

The game is for players aged 13 and over. It plays offline. The internet is used only for ads and for purchases through Google Play.
