Longa is an information app that helps you understand what you're consuming in packaged foods, cosmetics, and fruits and vegetables. It doesn't provide its own "health score"; it presents official information from labels and open data sources in simple language.

WHAT IT DOES:

• Scan barcode — Nutri-Score (A–E) and NOVA (processing) information for thousands of products
• Read label — If there's no barcode, photograph the ingredients list; explain the additives
• Fruits & vegetables — Species-based nutrition and pesticide warning notes (not lab tests)
• Profile filters — Warnings based on child, vegan, gluten-free, or allergen preferences

DATA SOURCES

Product information comes from Open Food Facts and related open databases. Nutri-Score and NOVA are based on independent scientific frameworks. Longa does not offer medical diagnoses or treatments; always rely on the product label before making a decision.

PRIVACY AND ACCOUNT

The Tag OCR feature includes 10 free uses per month. Signing in with Google is required for this feature. The camera is only used for scanning and reading tags.
