Hang a Goal

Hang A Goal is a sports word game played like hangman and told as a shot on goal. A hidden word from football or another sport appears as blank letters. A correct letter opens every place it appears. A wrong letter rolls the ball closer to the net. Six misses put the ball in the goal and end the round.

Solo mode follows 100 prepared levels. Early words are short. Later levels use longer terms from tennis, basketball, hockey, boxing, swimming, cycling, athletics and football. Clearing a level opens the next one, and a cleared level can be played again. Progress, statistics and the sound, music and vibration switches stay on the phone.

Two players share one device and take turns with one letter. Each revealed copy of a letter scores a point, and the letter that finishes the word adds a bonus. The higher score wins. If the ball reaches the net first, nobody wins that round.
