Handlum Signs

Every hand alphabet works the same way: each letter and number has a shape your fingers make, and you spell a word one letter at a time. Handlum Signs is a quiet place to learn those shapes and keep them within reach.

Instead of photographs, every handshape is drawn from a small finger-by-finger model. That keeps the whole reference light and consistent — the same clean hand, whichever letter you are looking at.

What you will find inside
- Alphabet: the full A to Z, plus the numbers 0 to 9. Tap any tile to see a larger hand and a plain description of how it is formed, and star the shapes you want to return to.
- Signs: around forty everyday signs grouped into Greetings, Family, Food, Feelings and Travel, each with a short "how to sign" line. Search across all of them, or filter down to your starred favorites.
- Practice: a ten-question round that shows you a hand or a description and asks you to choose the answer. Your score and your best run are tracked as you go, and because each round is seeded, you can replay the same one to see how much has stuck.

How to get the most from it
Begin with the alphabet until the shapes feel familiar, then open Practice to check what you remember. The signs section is there for the words you reach for most often — a greeting, a family member, something to eat or drink.

A note on what this is
Handlum Signs is a friendly reference for learning and revising, written in plain language and correct in spirit. Think of it as a first step and a memory aid, not a replacement for learning from the Deaf community and from fluent signers, where real fingerspelling comes to life.
