Halo AI: Private Chat

Halo AI is a private AI assistant that runs entirely on your phone.

Download a model once, then chat with no internet at all — on a plane, in the mountains, anywhere. What you type never leaves your phone: there is no account, no sign-in, no ads and no tracking.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Ask questions, brainstorm ideas and plan trips
• Draft and rewrite messages, emails and notes
• Summarise or explain text you paste in
• Keep working in airplane mode once a model is downloaded

CHOOSE YOUR MODEL
• Qwen 2.5 0.5B — recommended for most phones (547 MB)
• SmolLM 135M — the smallest, for low-memory phones (167 MB)
• Qwen 2.5 1.5B — the best on-device quality (1.6 GB)
Models are open-source and download from Hugging Face. Downloads pick up where they left off if the connection drops. Remove a model any time to free space.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Chats run on the model on your phone. Nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else.

Press and hold any answer to copy it or report it.

Good to know: small on-device models can be wrong and are strongest in English. Don't rely on Halo AI for medical, legal or financial decisions.
