About Wellbeing

You opened the app "just for a minute." Forty-five minutes later, you're still scrolling and somehow feeling worse than before.

Wellbeing helps you understand what your "favorite" apps are actually doing to your mood. And gently brings you back to yourself before the spiral goes too far.

📱 Built for the Age of Doomscrolling
Social media, news feeds, short videos — they're designed to keep you hooked. Wellbeing is designed to keep you aware. It runs quietly in the background and checks in on how you're feeling during your app usage sessions, so you build a real picture of what's lifting you up and what's pulling you down.

✅ What it does:
- Monitors your mood during real app sessions. You choose the apps.
- Sends gentle check-in prompts at smart intervals, never disruptive.
- Warns you when your mood is declining before it hits rock bottom.
- Shows clear charts of your emotional patterns per app, over time.
- Meaningful logging of feelings during your doomscrolling sessions.

🔍 Accessibility Service Usage (Required for Core Features)
This app uses the Android Accessibility Service to detect which app is currently in the foreground. This enables timed emotional check-in prompts during your app usage sessions, helping you monitor your wellbeing in real-time.

The Accessibility Service is used SOLELY for app detection — it does NOT:
- Read or record any content from other apps
- Modify any user settings or prevent uninstalling apps
- Track keystrokes, passwords, or personal data
- Interact with app content in any way

You must explicitly grant this permission during setup and can revoke it at any time in your device settings.

📊 See the Truth About Your Screen Time
It's not just about how long you spend on an app — it's about how it makes you feel. Wellbeing shows you exactly which apps energize you and which ones leave you anxious, numb, or drained. That's insight no screen time timer can give you.

🔔 A Nudge, Not a Block
Wellbeing doesn't lock your apps or lecture you. It simply reflects your own mood data back at you at the right moment. You decide for yourself whether to keep scrolling or take a breath.

🎮 Works for Gaming Too
Spending long hours gaming? Wellbeing monitors those sessions just as well. Whether it's a mobile game, social app, or news feed, if it's on your phone, Wellbeing is paying attention to how it's making you feel.

🔒 Private by Design
Your emotional data is yours. No name, no email required. Everything is stored securely under an anonymous ID. You're never the product.

Your "feed" will always be there. Your mental wellbeing deserves the same attention. Download Wellbeing and start scrolling with awareness.
