Learn Greek A1–C1: Greek Polis

Start speaking Greek where you need it every day: at the pharmacy, at the doctor's, with your landlord, at the bank, at the tax office. Greek Polis helps you learn Greek from zero to C1 through real-life dialogues, stories and exams, and an AI reviews your writing and speaking.

YOU ALREADY LIVE SURROUNDED BY GREEK
You moved here, you work here, you spend every summer here, and conversation still runs on "καλημέρα" and gestures. A textbook gives you rules but not the nerve to open your mouth. Here every topic ends with you speaking, writing and understanding by ear.

ONE ROAD FROM THE FIRST LETTER TO REAL CONVERSATION
Five levels, dozens of lessons, 100+ steps and 1,000+ tasks. Every lesson opens with a short explanation in your language, followed by practice on exactly that, and every section ends with an exam. All five levels are open from day one: start where you are.

DIALOGUES FROM REAL LIFE: REHEARSE THE CONVERSATION BEFORE IT HAPPENS
50 conversation scenarios where you play yourself and the other side answers in Greek: the dentist, a letting agent, a shop assistant, a mechanic, the tax office, the airport. You type your own lines, choose what to say and build sentences word by word. Make your mistakes here, not at the check-in desk.

READ GREEK FROM YOUR FIRST WEEKS
50+ short stories written for your exact level: the neighbourhood cat, a night ferry, the first week at a new job, a storm in the Aegean. Translation alongside, questions as you read, and any unknown word explained with one tap. You start understanding living text without waiting until you "know enough".

FIND OUT YOUR LEVEL BEFORE THE REAL EXAM
Practice exams in the Ellinomatheia format (the official Greek language certificate) at every level from A1 to C1: listening, dictation, writing, speaking. An AI reviews your essay and your spoken answer: it finds the mistakes, explains how to say it better and grades you against your level. You see your progress long before any official exam.

GRAMMAR YOU FINALLY UNDERSTAND
48 topics, from the article and the cases to the passive, participles, reported speech and word order. Each comes with a table of forms, a rule that answers "why", the typical traps, and exercises right next to it: 700+ explanations and exercises across the course.

TEN MINUTES A DAY YOU WON'T SKIP
Vocabulary cards with spaced repetition, 14 task types, grammar sprints, a daily streak and reminders to keep the rhythm. Ten minutes a day beats an hour once a week.

NOT A SINGLE WORD LEFT UNCLEAR
12,000+ words with translations into six languages, all their forms, natural-sounding audio and a picture for almost every one. Tap any Greek word anywhere in the app and you instantly know what it means and how it sounds.

EXPLANATIONS IN YOUR LANGUAGE
Interface, explanations, translations and hints in English, Russian, German, Ukrainian, Albanian and Hebrew.
