About GraphoGame Classe

“GraphoGame Classe” is decoding training software that helps preschool and primary school children and children with difficulties strengthen their early reading skills. This game helps the child learn the sounds of letters and letter groups by simultaneously presenting the corresponding sounds (or words) and letter groups.

The progression of the game is based on scientific data: the software was developed by linguists, neuropsychologists and speech therapists to help children - particularly struggling readers - to strengthen the fundamental automatisms of reading.

“GraphoGame Classe” accompanies the child through different games with his own character which he makes evolve during the game. The player gradually moves on to syllables, rhymes, short words and sentences and gradually learns to decode longer words. By playing for 15 minutes daily, the child will improve his accuracy in decoding letters, words, and his reading speed.

The GraphoGame platform is developed by a leading community of researchers and game developers in Finland, while the French-language content of “GraphoGame: learning to read” was developed by the Cognitive Psychology Laboratory (CNRS) at the University of Aix-Marseille.
