About Back to the Bible

Back to the Bible was founded by Theodore Epp in 1939. His passion was to use modern technology to bring people back to the Bible. The radio program he launched lives on through daily Bible-teaching delivered digitally.

But technology has changed. And, armed with a desire to be true to our founder, Dr. Arnie Cole has led Back to the Bible into digital media. The Back to the Bible app will continue our mission to help bring people into God's Word by sending personalized Bible content throughout the day, at times selected by you. The content is personalized based on your answers to a brief assessment taken after downloading the app.

Beyond these features, the Back to the Bible app delivers messages to you with great gems from our rich history. Hear our iconic daily Bible teaching program and receive biblical content on topics that meet your spiritual needs right where you are today. By using this app, you will grow closer to Jesus today than you were yesterday.

Features:

An easy to navigate Home Page that quickly gets you to all the app's main sections: Verses for Me, Tracks & Content, Daily Bible Teaching, and the Forward Daily Devotional.

When life throws you a curve, use the Personalize My Verse Feed button to adjust your messages on-the-fly to reflect your current needs.

Quickly review new content through notifications and the Inbox.

Add your preferred content to Favorites, fill in your Private Notes on scripture readings, Like, and Share with your network through email and social channels.

Manage track subscriptions and discover new tracks with our redesigned Tracks & Content section.

Finally! This is nearly exactly the same as the goTandem app used to be - such an easier-to-understand interface! Thank you SO MUCH for releasing this, so glad I stumbled upon this today because I had given up on goTandem because of the new layout and notifications all being off and hard to read. Thank you!!

I love this Bible study app. it has helped me grow in Christ and helped me to understand a lot of my sin issues which helped me to change my life for the Glory of God, I listen to the radio program through my local radio station and just heard that they will no longer be on that station which is very sad, but I will...
