BS – text on any background

The BS app helps you find color combinations, create custom palettes, and check text readability against a chosen background. It serves as a compact color studio with a built-in reference guide, functioning entirely offline without requiring registration.

The app is ideal for finding color schemes for interfaces, presentations, illustrations, posters, and other creative projects. Start with a ready-made combination or select a base hue to build a five-color palette.
A preview feature shows how your palette looks on a text card, a label, or a composition of shapes. Adjust text and background colors to compare different applications.
Name, save, and edit your palettes, or create copies for further experimentation. Automatic draft saving allows you to pick up right where you left off.

The app includes a guide featuring 12 short lessons. Learn the fundamentals of color, principles of combining hues, and the role of contrast in readability with the BS app.
