The Good Shepherd Micro Finance Bank was licensed in 18th July 2012 as a unit Microfinance Bank by Central Bank of Nigeria and Commences business on 23rd July 2012.
The Bank was set up by the Anglican Communion Enugu Diocese with other private investors in order to buy into the vision of Central Bank in poverty alleviation through providing access to financial services and enhancing savings culture, improving living standards of the poor and creating wealth for the small scale business men and women, low income group and small medium enterprises.
