Geo Location: Family GPS helps families, caregivers, and trusted contacts voluntarily share their locations in private groups. Members can view shared location updates, create alerts for important places, review available location activity, and send safety check-ins when support may be needed.
Location sharing is never automatic. Each person must accept an invitation, grant the required device permissions, and enable sharing before their location becomes visible to other group members.
Private Family Map
See location updates shared by approved members on a private map. The availability, timing, and accuracy of each update depend on the member’s sharing preferences, device settings, GPS signal, battery level, and internet connection.
Places and Notifications
Add familiar locations such as home, school, or work. Where supported, the app can notify approved group members when someone sharing their location arrives at or leaves a saved place.
Location Activity
Review recent location information voluntarily shared by connected members when this feature is enabled and data is available.
Safety Check-ins
Send a check-in or SOS message with your available location to selected trusted contacts. This feature is intended to help you communicate that you may need assistance.
Geo Location: Family GPS is not an emergency-response service and cannot guarantee that an alert will be received or acted upon. Always contact local emergency services in an emergency.
Invitation-Only Groups
Create private groups for family members, caregivers, or other trusted people. Only accepted members can access the location information shared within their group.
Location updates may vary depending on GPS signal, internet connectivity, battery level, device settings, operating-system restrictions, and permissions.
Geo Location: Family GPS is intended only for voluntary location sharing among people who know and agree to participate. It is not designed for secret tracking or monitoring.
