GammonSnap Backgammon Analyzer

Very useful app. You do need to check the board and occasionally (but not often) edit it to make sure everything is correct, but even then it's a lot quicker than starting from scratch.

Great and helpful app to instantly evaluate positions on the fly. I like the multiple options of sharing the board and evaluated move options with other people directly through the app and even save it directly to my phone's SD card, even though it is stored inside the app's database too for later revisiting it. works great! I am looking forward to having it analyze cube decisions in the future.

Does what it says with a minimum of fidgety bits or nerd knobs. The coin based system of paying for evaluation is fair. 100 coins come with the download so you can try it out at no cost. It inarguably serves a niche market but it fills that niche remarkably well.
