BlipBlobb

BlipBlobb is the easiest way to chat with people nearby — no internet, no accounts, no servers. Just open the app, create a room, and start talking.

Whether you're at a concert, on a camping trip, in a classroom, or anywhere without reliable internet, BlipBlobb lets you connect with the people around you using Bluetooth or WiFi.

HOW IT WORKS

• Create a room or find nearby rooms
• Choose Bluetooth (no WiFi needed) or WiFi (same network)
• Start chatting instantly — messages, photos, and more
• Everything stays local. Nothing goes to the cloud.

BLUETOOTH MODE

Chat with anyone nearby using Bluetooth Low Energy. No WiFi, no hotspot, no internet connection required. Perfect for outdoor events, travel, or anywhere without connectivity.

WIFI MODE

Connect over your local WiFi network for faster messaging. Messages are sent directly between devices using peer-to-peer connections — they never leave your network.

PRIVATE ROOMS (PRO)

Create invite-only rooms where you control who joins. Every member must be approved before entering. Great for team meetings, study groups, or private conversations.

SECURITY & PRIVACY

• End-to-end encryption on every message (AES-256-GCM)
• Messages are signed with ECDSA to prevent tampering
• No accounts, no registration, no personal data collected
• No analytics, no tracking, no ads
• Messages exist only during the session — nothing is stored

BACKGROUND NOTIFICATIONS

Enable background scanning to get notified when a BlipBlobb room appears nearby, even when the app is in the background.

SHARE PHOTOS

Snap a photo or pick one from your gallery and share it directly in chat. Images are compressed and sent peer-to-peer, just like messages.

BlipBlobb is built for real-world moments where the internet isn't available or isn't needed. No sign-ups. No cloud. Just people nearby, chatting.
